DESCRIPTION:- Our Digital Pendulum Impact Tester Model BIT-300-ASTM is designed for conducting CHARPY, IZOD and IMPACT TENSION test. The test method conforms to IS:1757-1973, and IS: 1499-1977, and BS: 131 Part 2&3- 1972 IS: 1598-1977, BS: 131 Part 1-1972. The impact energy absorbed by the specimen during rupture in measured as the difference between the height of drop before repute and the height of rise after rupture of the test specimen and is read on the dial scale.

APPLICATION:- Impact tests are utilized to study a material’s toughness, which is a key property that plays a significant role in the longevity of a structure. They are widely utilized for purposes such as material acceptance, research and development, and quality control. The test results are normally presented as the energy needed for fracturing the test piece.
